It’s all happening!

Final preparations are underway for launching the manual on Empathy Dynamics in Conflict Transformation this coming week. I’ve had a few hard copies printed but the best version is for reading on an ipad – I decided on this after seeing my Kenyan colleagues using ipads. In this version, there are videos to watch and lots of links to other resources. There will be versions for kindle and for reading / downloading on computers. The downloaded pdfs can be printed. There’s even a short summary version if you haven’t got time for the full one1

I’ll be posting all the links on here very soon.

And, if you’re in London, come along to my exhibition of paintings in 5th Base Gallery, Heneage Street, which is off Brick Lane. There’s a reception on Thursday 5 June, a creative writing workshop on 6th, tea and cake on Sunday 8th, and two special events around the manual. On Tuesday 10th, I’ll be in conversation with Simon Weatherbed of the NGO Responding to Conflict, talking about creativity and making connections between painting and conflict transformation. On Weds 11th June, we have 3 special guests: Jo Berry and Patrick Magee will be in conversation with film maker and psychotherapist Michael Appleton about their process of coming to know ‘the Other’ in the aftermath of conflict.

It would be lovely to see you!
